HOW DO I CARE FOR AND SERVE MY PORTUGUESE TARTS?

FRESH collection: these are best consumed on the day you receive them. We highly recommend following the serving instructions which are included on the website product page and with your delivery.

SNAP FROZEN collection: Store in your freezer for up to 6 months and pop them into the air-fryer or oven whenever you need to. Serving instructions are included on the website product page and with your delivery.

WHAT SUBURBS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR DELIVERY?

Our delivery partner; Cake Hero complete deliveries on our behalf. Delivery is currently available to those living within the Sydney metro (650+ suburbs).

 

Orders will usually be delivered between 10am-6pm. (We cannot guarantee a specific time for delivery as it depends on our delivery partner (Cake Hero).

You can check whether your suburb is eligible for delivery at checkout - see 'Estimated shipping'. Delivery costs are added at checkout and are determined by Cake Hero.

WHEN IS THE LATEST POSSIBLE TIME I CAN ORDER FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY?

Our natas are currently only available for delivery on Saturdays and Sundays.

Note: Order cut-offs are as follows (unless sold out prior)

  • Order by Friday 3pm, for Saturday delivery

  • Order by Saturday 3pm, for Sunday delivery

We are not currently accepting weekday orders.​

WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M NOT HOME OR I MISS MY DELIVERY?

If the recipient isn’t at home, a few things will happen:

  • The courier will leave the goods, IF there is a safe place to do so

  • If the driver is unable to leave the package, the box will be sent back to us and a re-delivery can occur for an additional fee.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I PROVIDE YOU WITH THE WRONG ADDRESS?

If you provide us with an incorrect address and we deliver your order as per your instructions, then we accept no responsibility for the mistake. 


You will need to complete a new purchase to have it delivered to the correct address on a different date. 

CAN YOU DELIVER TO AN APARTMENT/UNIT COMPLEX?

Yes we do deliver to apartments and units.


Please clearly note the unit number when placing the order and ensure that the recipient is home to accept the delivery.


If the building is secured, and the driver cannot get in, then the box will be returned to us and a re-delivery fee plus 50% cost of the order will be charged.


We cannot deliver to PO Boxes or parcel lockers.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER OR CHANGE THE DELIVERY DATE?

We understand that sometimes things outside of our control happen. That said, preparation for your order commences well in advance as we need to coordinate supplies, commence the process of laminating the pastry and coordinating with our delivery partner. 

We do not accept cancellations but will be happy to defer your delivery date as long as you contact us within 48 hours prior to your delivery date. Please note: you may only defer your delivery date once.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES?

Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds or exchanges due to change of mind.  All sales are final.

DO YOU DELIVER TO POLICE STATIONS, AIRPORTS OR GOVERNMENT BASES?

Unfortunately we do not deliver to police stations/centres, domestic and international airport terminal, and government bases (eg. military/navy defense bases) due their strict regulations for accepting deliveries.

IS WHOLESALE AVAILABLE?

Portuguese tarts are incredibly labour intensive and we only have a small team! For this reason, wholesale is not available at this point in time. If this does change in the near future, we will announce it via our Instagram page.
